Description
This regulator, which consists of three precisely fitted die castings, a flat spring and a heavy locking nut, is designed for use on large dampers.
The die cast core is made with 120 serrations which engage the teeth inside the escutcheon when the flat spring separating the two pieces is compressed by tightening the locking nut. Thislocking device eliminates any possibility of unwanted movement. The indicator not only shows the position of the damper blade once it is locked, but also makes it possible to hold the damper in the exact position desired while the locking nut is being tightened.
The #640 Damper Regulator is made to accommodate either 3/8” or 1/2″ square rod. Gasket furnished.
